Dr. Donahoe research has focused on Müllerian Inhibiting Substance (MIS/AMH), including its role in sex differentiation and its potential as a therapeutic for ovarian and other reproductive cancers. Dr. Donahoe and colleagues purified and cloned MIS and its receptors, advancing understanding of their biology and clinical applications. She has authored over 310 peer-reviewed publications and is a member of the National Academy of Sciences, National Academy of Medicine, National Academy of Inventors, and American Academy of Arts and Sciences.
